The Power of Prayer

  • Psalm 141:1-2 “I call to you, Lord, come quickly to me; hear me when I call to You.  May my prayer be set before You like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.”
  • 1 Timothy 2:8 “So I want men everywhere to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from sin and anger and resentment.”
  • Psalm 95:6 “Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”
  • Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
  • James 5:15 “ The prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”
  • James 5:16 “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”
  • Matthew 18:20 “ For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”
  • Matthew 18:19 “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.”
